The most rewarding thing about being a pharmacist is:
Knowing that I am making a positive difference in my patients’ lives
Who/what inspired you to be a pharmacist:
At an early age I was so amazed and intrigued by my mom knowing exactly what to do to make me and my brother feel better. Then during my summer semester at Georgia Tech taking Anatomy and Physiology and Organic Chemistry I realized I would love to work in medicine. I was so intrigued by the concept that putting a certain molecule in a body could have a reaction as big as changing ones personality, curing a cancer, or just stopping a runny nose. Ever since then I’ve been hooked on mechanism of actions and love the visual of a synapse. When I realized I could combine my love of medication with my love of people interaction I found my passion in pharmacy. Best decision I have EVER made!
